Plot – Inspired by a historical figure, the movie examines mythical characters falling outside the tradition. King Arthur, protagonist of epic deeds is Lucius Artorius Castus, a man who feels himself as a real Roman but doubts his real identity and roots. He makes in fact brave choices that will change his own fate and that of his people. Alongside Castus there are other men: Lancelot, Gawain, Galahad, Bors, Tristan and Dagonet, the ones known as King Arthur's knights. They must return to Rome because the Roman Empire is pulling back its borders. Firstly they go to the north to rescue Marius, a Roman nobleman, and his family. Immediately after Arthur, his men, Geneva and other Britons women and children head south to Hadrian's Wall, the limit of the Roman Empire where they fight Badon Hill battle, the historic event that will change Britain's destiny, giving birth to a centenary legend.
