Plot – Miranda is 16, her mother has abandoned her and her father Charlie is hospitalized in a psychiatric clinic. She works at McDonald's and her life is quite peaceful, but one day Charlie comes home with a new obsession: to look for a hidden treasure. He convinces himself the treasure is buried below a store in their neighborhood and he persuades Miranda to get a job there to retrieve it. The girl is at first skeptical, but then she helps her father.
