Plot – Ricardo Valenzuela is a young Mexican farm hand in San Fernando Valley, California. In his spare time he dedicates himself to music. Suddenly, three of his songs become successful and spring at the top of the charts. Despite his family’s disapproval and the difficult relationship with the step-brother Bob, he becomes famous under the pseudonym of Ritchie Valens. On February 3, 1959, he tragically dies in an air crash at just 17.
