Plot – In France in the eighteenth century an evil feudal bishop falls in love with Isabella d'Anjou, but the heart of the beautiful woman belongs to the guards' head, Etienne. The bishop throws a curse on them: Etienne is doomed to wander at night in the form of a wolf, while Isabella transforms herself into a hawk by day. The two lovers are thus destined to never meet in their human form, until Etienne meets a young thief called Philippe who saves the life of the hawk, then the one of the wolf with the help of Imperious, a monaco-magician.
