(1962)Plot – The British lieutenant T.E. Lawrence is sent among the Arabic tribes who are rising up against the Turkish government to rekindle the riot. After the brave conquest of Aqaba, the lieutenant becomes a charismatic Arabs’ guide, he assumes the local habits and now wants to emancipate the tribes, clashing with the English government’s interests. His adventures create an atmosphere of invincibility, which is so psychologically intense that leads him to self-destruction. He becomes a burden, so he gets excluded. However, the Arabs recognize to be ready to create an unitary state.
