“Light of Day” quotes

Plot – Patty and Joe Rasnick are two brothers from Cleveland who play in the Barbusters band and perform in bars. Patty has a rebellious nature and has a son, Benjamin, while Joe is calm and sensible and works by day in a factory with his friend Bu Montgomery, who plays in the Barbusters too. As the factory closes, Joe and Bu decide to devote entirely to music and play in several US states, but things don't go as expected and the Barbusters members come back to their former lives. Bu and Joe resume their job and Patty is hired by another rock band, the Hunzz. In the meantime, Benjamin grows up with his uncle Joe and his grandmother. As the woman discovers she has an advanced cancer, Joe calls his sister. When the two women meet after a long period, both understand they have made some mistakes. Before the woman dies, Patty promises her to live a honest life. After her funeral, Joe and Patty play back in the Barbusters.
