Title Listen to Me

Genre Drama, Romance
Plot – In an American college, Tucker Muldowney and Monica Tomanski are two scholars who train to pass the university’s eliminating rounds of an oratorical championship, in order to face the University of Harvard’s champions in front of the Supreme Court and in a public conference in Washington. They are supported by the aspiring comedy writer Garson McKellar and the professor Charlie Nichols. In Washington, both Monica and Tucker’s speeches about abortion are clever and efficient. In fact Monica, who had an abortion after she was raped, describes the intimate pain of a woman exposed to such a psychological and physical torture. Tucker highlights the meaning and the importance of life. Although the Harvard champions are good, Tucker and Monica’s thesis is stronger.
