Plot – Bob Harris and Charlotte are two Americans in Tokyo. Bob is a movie star and is in Tokyo to shoot a commercial, while Charlotte is a young woman who trudges behind her tireless husband, who's a photographer. Both affected by insomnia, Bob and Charlotte meet by chance one night in the hotel bar and their meeting turns soon into an incredible friendship. Charlotte and Bob venture through Tokyo's streets, have funny and bizarre encounters with young Japaneses and, eventually, discover that life still has innumerable possibilities for them.
