Plot – Lee lives in Ohio with her two sons. Hank is the eldest and has psychological problems, so he is locked up in an institution. One day Lee receives a phone call from Florida: her sister Bessie has leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant. Bessie has never married and has devoted her life to take care of his dying father Marvin and the eccentric aunt Ruth. The two sisters haven't spoken to each other for more than 20 years and firstly they confront one another, then gradually they discover themselves back.
