Plot – Mary Stuart, Queen of France at only 16 and widowed at 18, doesn’t want to surrender the pressure of remarrying and decides to come back her homeland Scotland to claim her legitimate right to the throne. However, at that time, Scotland and England are under the rule of the powerful Elizabeth I. The two young Queens keep an eye on each other, each with a mix of fear and admiration towards the other. Rivals in politics and in love, and ruling in a man dominated world, the two Queens will have to find a balance between marriage and independence.
