Plot – This story is set in a mysterious and exotic world and begins before World War II blows up. A Japanese child is torn from a family without means and is raised in a geisha house. Despite the harassments of her bitter rival, the girl blossoms and becomes the legendary geisha Sayuri. She's beautiful and talented and she can seduce the most powerful men of her time. Her heart however is secretly beating for the only man she can't have.
