Plot – Washington, 2054. Homicides have been eliminated thanks to a new technology: the police - with the help of three supposedly infallible young seers, called "Pre-Cogs," who are able to see images that reveal time, place and other details of the crimes that are going to happen - can predict the future and punish those responsible before the crime is committed. Commander John Anderton is part of the department in charge of intervention to arrest potential criminals, but when he also receives a detention order he is forced to prove his innocence and escape his own department, captained by his eternal rival Danny Witwer, who wants to eliminate him. Moving secretly under the city's radar, a technologically advanced place where every individual is monitored 24/7, John has to prove that the Pre-Cogs can make mistakes.
