Plot – A gang of fearless fighters has defeated the evil lords of war from Outworld during a Mortal Kombat tournament. The Earth is still safe for another generation. As the heroes celebrate the victory, Outworld's gates are destroyed by a giant character. The real fight has just begun: Outworld's Emperor Shao-Khan has not only broken Mortal Kombat's rules but he's coming to Earth to exterminate all the enemies. Liu Kang, who leads the rescue, thinks Shao-Kahn is his brother and assumes the duty to stop him. Salvation is possible because the fate of the universe is entrusted again to Mortal Kombat's rules.
