Plot – Deeds, a poet from the countryside, inherits 20 million dollar. Once in New York, he defends himself from the greedy people who aim to his patrimony. However, he is victim of a journalist’s temptations, who pretends to be a poor girl. Deeds falls in love with her, but when he realizes that the girl has used him, he decides to give the patrimony to needy people and goes back to his village. Here, other people try to take possession of the money and the poet is slowly approaches to self-ruining. However, the regretful journalist is truly in love with him, so he finally decides to talk in front of a court. He wins the suit and the journalist’s heart.
