Plot – Melvin is a perfectly incompetent policeman that gets assigned to the night shift for punishment. However, as a comedian he is not bad. He willingly goes on stage, but since he is supposed to be on patrol, he performs with a paper bag over his face to hide his identity. Things get complicated when a robber commits a crime with a bag over his head too.
