Plot – A lovely kitten, hungry and alone, in the midst of a dangerous New York traffic jam meets a sly dog, Dodger, who asks his help to steal a few things. Then Dodger runs off, leaving the kitten without any swag. The little one, wanting his part, pursues him with decision and reaches him in a squalid attic, where Dodger lives along with his friends Francis, Rita, Einstein and Topo Tito. They all make friendship and the gang members instruct the kitten: helping the thief Fagin in his thefts, the newlycome becomes a member of the gang too. Fagin is in turn terrified by the bad gangster Sykes, always escorted by two ferocious Doberman Roscoe and Desoto, who's demanding him the immediate repayment of a loan. Fagin therefore is trying to find the money he needs and plans a hit with Dodger's gang. The kitten ends up inside little Jenny's car: she's actually sad because her parents are away and will not be present at her birthday and is immediately enthusiastic about the kitten, which she calls Oliver and brings home with her. Georgette, the family's luxury dog, feels to be the real house's owner, so it helps Fagin kidnapping Oliver to get a ransom and pay his debts.
