Plot – Macleane is a poor English man with good manners. He infiltrates high society to rob aristocrats, but one day he runs into Lord Gibson, who's traveling with his niece Rebecca and his deputy Chance, a police captain. Macleane falls in love with Rebecca. During an assault, the French ambassador is killed and Chance takes the command of the operations, while Rebecca tells Macleane her uncle will leave for France with her carrying many jewels, so he can steal them, but the information is a trap.
