Plot – “Poltergeist” is a remake of the 1982 classic film about a suburban family whose house is infested by evil forces. When terrifying apparitions multiply their attacks and take the youngest daughter captive, the family must unite to save her before she disappears forever. “Poltergeist” thus revisits an established brand, giving life to the classic tale of a haunted house that arouses our deepest fears. It portrays a family like ours, in a house like ours, which, however, finds itself caught in a supernatural trap. The film was shot in native 3D, which sharpens the moments of terror and suspense, and leaves us clinging to our seats with bated breath. The new script leaves open the interpretation that the horror that this family faces - haunted as it is by numerous spirits and the consequent disappearance of a child - may not be due only to the fact that their new home is built on a cemetery. It introduces the idea that our fragmented nature and the fragility of families make us much more vulnerable to the temptations of the supernatural.
