Plot – Mr. Bennett lives in his estate in Longbourn with his severe wife and his five daughters: the beautiful Jane, the very smart Elizabeth, the very studious Mary, the immature Kitty and the wild Lydia. The peace is slow and serene but when the house is inherited by a distant cousin, Mr. Collins, the only way the girls can ensure themselves a serene future is having a good marriage. The occasion seems to arrive when a wealthy bachelor, Mr. Bingley, arrives to Netherfield estate to spend some time along with his elegant and sophisticated friends, including Mr. Darcy.
