Plot – 1971 Alexandria, Virginia. The school department decides to unite two separated high schools, one for black people and the other for white students. The full integration and the racial tolerance are two contradictory and distant goals. Suspiciousness and the mistaken differences influence the habits, the musical choices, the families, the illusions, the slang. The Titans is the mixed football team formed after the fusion of the two high schools and its leader is the black guy Herman Boone, who has to work hard with his coach to avoid racial conflicts.
