Plot – Rita and Sue are two good friends. They are healthy and full of vitality, plump and unattractive. They are not brilliant students and they both come from dysfunctional families with drunken petulant parents and brothers who are vulgar slackers. They live in a neighborhood on the outskirts of the Yorkshire-ghetto where the only entertainment for young people is a dingy, loud, smoky nightclub. The two teenagers, who are a bit naive and a bit naughty, babysit in the home of wealthy families. In one of these family, the two girls meet Bob, who is not an exemplary husband and father and seduces them both. Rita and Sue are fascinated by the man, who carries on the affair with them until his wife Michelle discovers him and leaves him taking away their two children. Rita and Sue are not at all upset by the situation nor by the scene that the woman makes. Bob, for his part, proposes to Rita to move in together because she is pregnant. Sue tries to find comfort by dating Aslam, a Pakistani who had a crush on her. However, the relationship between the two deteriorates and Rita, who has since lost the baby, invites her friend to go to stay in the same house with her and Bob.
