Plot – Dewey Finn is a rock guitarist, critical and disrespectful towards the system. He wants absolutely to win a local contest with his band, but the band is tired of his behavior and fires him. Desperate and broke, Dewey answers a phone call for his flatmate Ned and he accepts a substitute teaching in a prestigious primary school, run by a very strict headmaster. Dewey immediately gains the students’ confidence. When he hears them playing in the school orchestra, he decides to transform them in a high-voltage rock band.
