Plot – Mort Rainey is a successful writer but now he's in the middle of a painful divorce that has drained all his energies and inspirations. The separation is leaving him also in a writer's block as he cannot do anything but lying on his favorite couch for almost all the day. One day a psychotic stranger named John Shooter knocks at his door, accusing him of plagiarism. When Shooter becomes increasingly insistent and hostile, Mort is scared the man can even kill him in cold blood.
