Plot – Captain Malcolm Reynolds, a disillusioned veteran who has fought a galactic civil war at the loosers' side, scrapes out a living committing small crimes and transporting passengers and goods on the ship 'Serenity Firefly'. He's the head of an eclectic, quarrelsome, unruly but faithful to death crew and for Malcolm it represents the closest thing to a family. When Mal agrees to transport a young doctor and his unstable and telepathic sister onboard, the Captain embarks even more than expected as the two are escaping from Alliance, the coalition which dominates the galaxy and won't stop in front of anything to reclaim the girl.
