Plot – In the Nova Robotics’ headquarters people are celebrating the success of brand new and sophisticated mechanical puppets, designed to defeat the tanks of a potential enemy. Suddenly, a lightning strikes and causes some changes in the behavior of the robot number 5 that allow him to take a pleasant holiday outside. Newton Crosby, its inventor, pursues him to bring him back in the factory and discover the cause of the accident. Meanwhile the army, concerned about the consequences of a failure to control the robot, starts to look for him. Robot number 5 seeks refuge at Speck’s house, an ecologically friendly girl who loves animals, and starts its own life.
