Plot – Ben Jahrvi is a young Indian man who sells robot toys on the streets, while Fred Ritter sells clocks of dubious efficiency. Sandy is the consultant of the toy department in a large store and is interested in Ben's robots, so he buys a thousand of them. Thinking to take advantage of it, Fred proclaims himself Ben's partner and rents a disused warehouse to product the toys. To build more rapidly the robots, Ben is helped by Johnny 5, a robot. In the meantime, three swindlers are digging into the warehouse to reach a bank vault. They want to steal the diamonds of a private collection. While the trio attacks and destroys the warehouse, they think to hire Johnny 5 to make him dig a tunnel. Seized the jewels, the robbers get rid of their strange mate and reduce it to a pile of burned wires. After a successful repair, the robot takes its revenge and it becomes the first robot in history to obtain the American citizenship.
