Plot – Al Simmons makes a deal with the devil to return to Earth to avenge his own murder and to review Wanda, the great love of his life. Driven by anger, Simmons resurrects in the guise of Spawn, knight of darkness with a disfigured face. Spawn realizes too late that the deal is misleading and would like to give it up, but the devil opposes his decision and sends Violator, an indestructible demon who reincarnates in the body of Clown, a vagabond. Violator finds an ally in Jason Wynn, the government agent who plotted Simmons' murder and together they plan to kill again Simmons-Spawn. Fortunately, he discovers Wynn and Violator's intentions, as they want to destroy the entire mankind too. Now Spawn must choose between his vengeance and humanity's salvation.
