(1992)Plot – Shirlee Kenyon is fired and goes to Chicago in search of fortune. She's hired by radio station WNDY to work as receptionist. As she's mistaken for the new psychologist, Shirlee finds herself conducting a real transmission. The girl has an extraordinary success indeed and the listeners confide her their troubles and ask her new advices. While Shirlee is becoming more and more famous, journalist Jack Russell remembers that he has met her before: she's just the girl who was attempting to throw herself from the bridge in fact. The journalist thinks to realize a scoop, but he is fascinated by Shirlee and decides to not reveal the truth. During the last transmission, Shirlee says goodbye to her listeners as now she's happily engaged to Jack.
