Plot – Superman has mysteriously disappeared and nobody can manage world's urgencies. Without him, crime rises in Metropolis and Lex Luthor is planning to destroy the city. Lois Lane, the Daily Planet reporter, is the only woman Superman has ever loved, but now she's engaged to an editor's nephew, she has a son and has won a Pulitzer Prize for her essay "Why the World Does not Need Superman". After a long search for a place to live in the universe, Superman returns at Kent's farm because he now knows Metropolis is his true home. Furthermore, as Lex is realizing his plan, the world needs Superman more than ever.
