In a phone booth he finds the agenda and some credit cards of Spencer Barnes, a neurotic advertising executive whose diary records his meticulously organized life. Barnes tries desperately, but in vain, to contact Diane - manager of a major advertising company - and Sakamoto - a prestigious Japanese businessman - with the hasty help of his former classmate Debbie. Meanwhile Dworsky, mistaken for Barnes, gets successfully involved in the executive's business.
