Plot – When Howard Hughes was just twenty years old, he decided to use the fortune inherited from his father to shoot a film about the First World War. Defying the Hollywood system as an independent producer, Hughes created an exceptional blockbuster using the largest budget up to then in film-making history. The film still amazes thanks to the grandeur of its aerial sequences, which he starred in and made him famous. After founding Hughes Aircraft Company and breaking all speed records, Hughes became the most famous American pilot after Charles Lindbergh.
