Plot – The Northumberland shipwrecks offshore. Richard and Emmeline, two children, and Paddy Burton, the ship's cook, survive landing on an unknown island. With the kids, Paddy acts like a father and a friend, teaching them how to survive, but then he dies letting the kids to grow alone. As adults, they discover love and have a beautiful baby. When he swallows some berries, the parents believe they are poisonous and eat them too.
