Plot – Joan Walden, a real estate agent, has to reconcile her brilliant career with the duties of a single mom. It is very hard to take care of two children, Sally and Conrad, who are very different but also similar in their complicated character. One day, Joan scolds the kids because of their mischievous behavior, so they are forced to stay at home with Mrs. Kwan while Joan goes to a business party. It is a rainy day, the kids are bored and the baby-sitter sleeps on the sofa. Suddenly, a mysterious and tall cat arrives: he can speak, he wears a striped hat and a red bow tie, he knows how to have fun and engages the kids in an adventurous trip in an enchanted world.
