Plot – Dexter and Erik are neighbors, but they don't get along because at school people say Dexter has AIDS. Linda, Dexter's mother, works in a supermarket and doesn't spend much time with her son and Gail, Erik's mother, is an alcoholic who neglects his one. One afternoon, Erik invites Dexter to play naval battle and they become inseparable friends. Now Erik wants to help Dexter with his disease as he has learned a specialist is experiencing a positive new therapy for AIDS treatment. They escape to meet him navigating a dinghy and meeting unscrupulous people. When Dexter's health is put at risk, Erik has to call back Linda and at the hospital Erik doesn't abandon his friend.
