Plot – Doug Dorsey was not simply a hockey player: he was tough, he was a champion, he was on the national Olympic team, he was one that considered hockey a true sport and ice figure skating a hobby for girls. Then a bad accident gave him eyesight problems and his career was over. After recovering from this bad moment, he has three alternatives: to become a bartender, to return to the factory from which he had fled thanks to hockey, or to carry on skating but in a different environment, teaming up with the figure ice skating champion and train for the Olympics. The choice is inevitable. Her name is Kate Mosely: she is rich, spoiled, an excellent skater and a cute girl, but she has also always been a nightmare for her partners. Training starts on a negative note, but slowly the two manage to build mutual understanding, a harmony that will bring them to a triumphal gold medal. D.B. Sweeney and Moira Kelly are the two main characters and they are a fun couple. The fact that after the initial quarreling they end up in love and win the Olympic gold medal is quite a cliché.
