Plot – A vagabond manages to become mayor of Chicago and then governor of the state thanks to the support of a gangster for whom he works. When the man, however, tries to behave honestly and rejects his friends' proposals, he is arrested for old crimes. After several failed attempts, he manages to escape from prison and flee to an island in the tropics where he will earn his living as a bartender.
