Plot – It's winter and the Civil War is over. A stagecoach travels in Wyoming. On board there are the bounty hunter John Ruth and his prisoner Daisy Domergue. They are headed to Red Rock. Along the way the Major Marquis Warren - a black former northerner soldier - and Chris Mannix, who introduces himself as the new Red Rock sheriff - join them. Because of the snowstorm, the company refuges in Minnie's emporium. The group is welcomed by four unknown men: the Mexican Bob, the Red Rock executioner Oswaldo Mobray, the herdsman Joe Gage and the General Sanford Smithers. They are all blocked inside. The eight characters soon realize reaching their destination won't be easy.
