Plot – Amanda Woods lives in Los Angeles and has a movie trailers' production company. Iris Simpkins is a British journalist who writes the popular wedding column for the Daily Telegraph newspaper. Despite not knowing each other, the two women have one thing in common: both have been disappointed by their love stories. Taking advantage of the Christmas holidays, both decide to escape from the usual routine and they get in touch through a website that offers home exchanges. Amanda therefore leaves for England to spend two weeks in a romantic English cottage nestled in the snow, just outside London, while Iris crosses the ocean to spend two weeks under the California sun.
