Plot – Unscrupulous globetrotter Harry Madox arrives in a small town in Texas, where he gets hired as a salesman by George Harshaw. His wife Dolly seduces Harry but he likes Gloria Harper, a colleague. Madox sets fire to a building, taking advantage of the confusion and stealing many dollars from the bank. Dolly manages to release him and blackmails him to stay with her, but Madox wants to stay with Gloria, so he flees with her to the Caribbean.
