Plot – November, 1973. In New Canaan, Connecticut, while the Watergate scandal is involving President Nixon, the Hood family is going through a difficult moment. Ben has an affair with his neighbor Jane Carver. His wife Elena has cultural ambitions and she's losing her patience facing her husband's lies. Their daughter Wendy, a teenager, tries unusual games with Mikey and Sandy, Jane's sons. During Thanksgiving Day, the family spends together the festivity until the eldest son Paul leaves them to reach a girl he has met at school in New York. Meanwhile Ben and Elena go to a 'key party' with swapping couples. Elena and her son Paul both fail to succeed in their game, while outside a storm hits the area. In that situation, everyone sees the precariousness of the others and the next morning no one is no longer the same.
