Plot – The Imitation Game is a 2014 historical drama film based on the 1983 biography Alan Turing: The Enigma by Andrew Hodges. Set during World War II, it follows the nail-biting race against time by Turing and his team of code-breakers at Britain's top-secret Government Code and Cypher School at Bletchley Park. They try to break Nazi codes, including Enigma, while Turing builds a machine to decipher them.
