Plot – Edward has shipwrecked on an unknown island and is locked in a room. Apparently everything is calm and quiet but soon he discovers he's in a laboratory. Dr. Moreau and his assistant Montgomery are conducting genetic experiments on animals to create a superior race of human beings, but results are terrible. The first human-like beasts are smart but have a strong killer instinct and their blood thirst is appeased only by sedatives. When the beasts rebel, Edward finds himself involved and Moreau is killed. As the creatures rule the island now, Edward manages to escape, but the real world isn't a better one.
