Plot – To Peter Appleton, a successful writer, everything seems to be going right: his latest film - 'The predators of Sahara' - is very successful at the box office and he's respected in Hollywood. However one day he's accused of being a Communist: USA is living the McCarthyism period and Appleton is forced to flee and finds himself in Lawson, an unknown town where he is mistaken for Luke, a war hero died eight years ago.
