Plot – During a mission on Mars, astronaut Mark Watney is considered dead after a heavy storm and therefore abandoned by his crew. However, Watney survived and now finds himself alone on the hostile planet. With scarce supplies, Watney has to draw on his genius, his wit and his spirit of survival to find a way to signal the Earth that he is alive.
