Plot – Massachusetts is approaching election time. The current senator has doubts about his re-election. To try to increase the votes, he decides to play his surname's expedient, McGlory, which recalls in fact his Irish origins. With this detail, he thinks to ingratiate the many Irish citizens of the city. As a proof of it, the man sends a young assistant to Ireland, in search of his friends and relatives. Arrived on the island, the girl begins the searches with a lot of will, but she fails: nobody knows who McGlory is. Back in America, the assistant unmasks the sinister senator before he applies again. Now the girl can happily return to Ireland, where she has started a sentimental relationship with a bartender.
