Plot – Tracy is a rich heiress of Philadelphia, separated from her husband. She decides to marry George, a guy who has gained success through his hard work. He's sincere and candid, while Tracy's world is refined but miserable. The marriage is approaching and the editor of a tabloid sends a reporter to investigate on Tracy's new flame. Her ex-husband, who's still in love with her, intervenes as well as he wants to prevent the new marriage. The night before the wedding, a scandal makes things favorable for him: Tracy gets drunk and the reporter takes her back home. George gives up the marriage, but the next day the ceremony takes place anyway, because Tracy's ex-husband takes George's place.
