Plot – A mysterious woman arrives at Redemption to kill the evil Herod, the absolute ruler of the city. Once a year Herod gets rid of all of his enemies through a money contest that he organizes which draws killers from all over the West. Herold, who is the fastest, always sees him triumph at the last bloody battle. This year, the woman also takes part to the contest. Director Raimi is a madman with an ironic and encyclopedic taste for references and reinterpretations. Hilarious lines, a tribute to all the mean westerns of Leone, Siegel and Clint Eastwood. A refined reinterpretation of the genre: entertainment assured.
