Plot – The movie in set during the Cold War. A mute young woman, Elisa, that works as a cleaning lady, lives in a world of silence and solitude. Watching the others having a normal life makes her feel broken and incomplete, she lives with no ambition nor expectations. One day, Elisa and her colleague Zelda are cleaning a secret laboratory when they come across a dangerous government experiment: a half-fish half-man creature held captive in a tank full of water. Elisa and the monster will become close friends and their relationship will not go unnoticed.
