Plot – Steven Hardin is a young judge who sees too many lawyers clinging to legal technicalities, so that many criminals remain unpunished and he's troubled about this. The relationship with his wife Emily is in crisis too, so a senior colleague of his, Judge Caulfield, proposes him to be part of a secret team of executioners to punish the acquitted criminals.
