Plot – This is a war movie set during the American Guadalcanal Campaign between 1942 and 1943. It concerns the C Company - C as Charlie, the typical army rifleman's name. The soldiers try to win a Japanese stronghold, a hill called 210. The movie starts from the landing on the island to the bloody and exhausting fightings, the patrols in the jungle, the short rests in camps and hospitals and finished with the departure of the survivors. In the end, the Japanese stronghold's conquest is an entirely secondary event related to the effects that Guadalcanal Campaign had on C Company soldiers' lives.
